This is a leveling build I've used for several racial and epic lives. It's designed to be a speedy melee with excellent AoE clearing while being relatively self-sufficient. Between Dragon Lord's Roar and up to three Cleave attacks (WWA, Exalted Whirlwind from Sacred Fist, and then Quick Cutter in epics), you can clear most mob packs with ease. Boss/single-target DPS is lower, but still acceptable. As I do not play this build at cap, the gear is for 20-30. I find this gearset works very well as a general setup for STR-based melees. Swap out the armor and weapon depending on your needs. For heroics, I run 8-piece Feywild + whatever else at level 5, swap to Silent Avenger + Adherent of the Mists at 10, then PotF + Mists at 15 along with random pieces like Bronze Dragonscale Belt, Crown of Butterflies, and Flameguard Lenses. You can run this build without tomes, but you'll need to make stat adjustments so you can take Dodge/Mobility at level 1. Discipline is for extra MRR/PRR through GMoF, but it's not needed and is the feat to drop if you run this build for races other than Human.

Tanky Bard Support & Healer

I've been playing at endgame with an undergeared variation of this and been happy with it for what it is. It's a first-life build designed for healing and light tanking in LH raids, and it's done the job. I've solo healed most modern raids on that difficulty with a good party composition, and have solo tanked some older raids like Skellies, Chrono, and Dryad. Fully geared and with bard buffs, you can expect something like 5-5,500 HP, 350ish PRR, 220ish MRR, and 450 Fortification depending on tomes, past lives and Reaper Points. Healing is passable at ~800 Positive spellpower, 69 crit chance, 55 crit multiplier, but not stellar. For reaper questing, I would recommend playing as a healer rather than a tank unless you have another healer in the group. Just be realistic with your capabilities. If you want to focus more on healing and less on tanking, I would follow Lominal's bard healer build for ED allocation, as that works quite well while still being robust enough to take some hits.
