Changes

New:

  • Added "F2P" to Life Type filter.

  • Added "Dominant" option to class filter. Here is how it works:

    • When "All" is selected:
If dominant is turned off, it shows only builds that have all of the selected classes.
If dominant is turned on, it shows only builds that have all the selected classes, and that those classes are the highest level of all classes in the build ( ie, picking cleric and selecting dominant wont show you a build of paladin 18, cleric 2, as cleric isn't the highest level class ).

    • When "Any" is selected:
If dominant is turned off, it shows all builds with at least one of those classes.
If dominant is turned on, it shows only builds where at least one of the selected classes is the highest level class.

    • Added a counter on the build cards, showing the amount of comments the build has.

    • Added ToolTips in the "New Build" page, this will hopefully help show how you are supposed to write out all the information if you are not importing from a build file.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed issue where the text that were also buttons in the sign in / sign up page weren't changing colors when hovering over them.

New:

  • Added another option "Unlisted" when creating / updating a build. When a build is set as "Unlisted", it will not be shown on the site in the normal areas ( main page, user profiles, when searching ), but will be viewable with a direct link to the build. It will also still be shown in the "Favorites" if a user set it as a favorite build of his.

This was added for 2 main reasons:

    • Allow people to share with other people before fully publishing to get feedback.

    • Share fully done builds with only specific people.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed issue where faulty tags in the url would cause an error.

Notice:

I'm back ;)

New:

  • Text that was hoverable ( like the feats, spells, and items ) now shows the relevant icon before the text, to make it more easily 'readable' in a quick look without hovering over everything

  • Leveling Path now combines class level ups that are the same class in a row ( for example, instead of showing - lvl 5 X, lvl 6 X, lvl 7 X, it will now show lvl 5-7 X instead ), to hopefully make it cleaner and clearer.

  • Changed it so that importing a build no longer sets the name to "race: class:X, class2:X", this will hopefully incentives people to think of unique names for each build, and help differentiate between builds

  • When editing the Ability Points selected, you can now go above 18 and below 8, as well as setting the value as empty. Trying to save as draft / publish the build will not be allowed and will show an error explaining the issue. This will hopefully help make the experience of manually setting these to the wanted values better ( and fixes the issue of not being able to do so at all on mobile )

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed issue where if the screen width was small, the leveling path would push the image out of the correct placement ( was most noticeable on mobile ).

Notice:

I will soon be on vacation untill the 15th of august, so there will be no new updates until then :)

New:

  • Hovering items now shows minimal text, but allows clicking multiple items

  • Can close clicked items in the item view itself now

  • Saves Order by and search type selection between sessions. Also saves the filters in each session, so changing pages doesn't reset them

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where if you had an extra item in the build, and someone exported a .DDOBuild file, it would also export those extra items, which would then give you an error when importing in the builder.

New:

Changed the way Items are shown in the build. You can still write free text, that will be shown when hovering / clicking the item.

If you write text before any gearset, it will show a text above the images that is for all gearset.

If you add a "<note>" everything after that in the gearset will be shown as text below the images for that specific gearset.

New:

  • Added ability to reply to a specific comment, this will also notify the original comment's user

  • Now shows a warning when trying to leave while editing / creating a build, to make sure users don't accidently leave and delete their progress.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where Dhampir Dark Bargainer didn't get imported correctly from .DDOBuild files.

  • Fixed an issue where exported files from the site didn't let users change the past lifes in Maetrims DDOBuilder app

New:

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where upgradable items didn't show their added augments correctly ( like the quiver of alacrity for example )

New:

  • Added a background image to the build cards based on the race selected for the build

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where changing the filter wouldn't reset to the first page, and then may have not shown the correct, or even any, builds

New:

  • Added a note text area above both the enhancements and the epic destinies. This should be used if you want the users to always see it, even if they are only looking at the images ( putting enhancements there doesn't change the visual image ). If left empty, it will not be displayed in the build.

  • Added the "Solo" tag under "PARTY ROLE"

  • Added icons for the Class and Races filters

Bug fixes:

  • Changing the search between creator / build name now correctly refreshes the results automatically

New:

  • Added ability to search by name of the build creator

  • Enhancement images now try and fit to a max of 3 in a single row

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed issue where only the filters changing would show the loading indicator in the main page

  • Fixed issue where the loading indicator's position was changing based on the amount of builds shown. ( it is not also in the center of the builds area in the main page )

New:

  • Added views counter to builds ( Can now also order the builds by view count )

  • Added Notifications ( can be seen at top of each page as a bell icon ), only 2 things send notifications right now:

    1. Someone you follow uploaded a new build

    2. Someone left a comment on your build

  • When editing or creating a build, you can no longer change the size of the text area, it instead automatically scales based on the amount of text

  • When viewing a build, the default is now set to show the visual image if available

New:

  • Added ability to format the text:

    1. change size of font

    2. use Bold

    3. Italic

    4. Underline

    5. Strikethrough

    6. Header

    7. list with circles

    8. list with numbers

    9. links

  • Updated data to include some of the new stuff from update 81, this site uses data from maetrim's DDOBuilderV2, and so I only update the data when that repository gets updated. Not everything from the update is in there yet ( for example the new feat images ), so as it gets added I will update as well

  • Also changed current update in the site to update 81, now allowing builds for levels 36

  • Added this "Changes" page :) to show what I have changed on the site

  • The builds shown in the main page now show when the build was last updated instead of the creation date

  • The build page itself now shows both when the build was created and when it was last edited

Bug fixes:

This was technically done a yesterday, but will add it here anyways :)

  • Enhancement cores that had the same name now show up correctly in the visual image

  • Fixed an issue where some exported builds were not valid in the DDOBuilder app

  • Fixed an issue where the tooltip didn't show the selected enhancement when hovering an enhancement with selectable options, but showed the selection optio instead.

Notes:

If you had a build that used the old feats / names, they will now show up as red, as the site no longer recognizes them. ( It currently doesn't keep things from previous updates for backwards compatibility )

If you want to update to use level 36 cap ( for example to add the next ability level up option ), if you edit it will automatically use the latest game update, and will show the relevant changes.
