Privacy Policy

What We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and a unique Google account identifier. We use this information solely to create and identify your account. We do not access your Google password, contacts, or any other Google data.

Beyond your Google account info, we store:

• Your chosen nickname (displayed publicly as your author name)
• Builds you create (including all build data you enter)
• Comments you post on builds
• Any other information you publish on the site

Service Providers

We use the following third-party service providers to operate DDO BuildHub. These providers may process data as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own privacy policies and terms of service:

• Vercel — website hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring
• Neon — database storage
• Google — authentication via OAuth

Like most websites, technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, and request logs may be collected automatically by our hosting providers for security, troubleshooting, and operational purposes.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies. None are used to track you across other websites or for advertising:

• A session cookie to keep you signed in — essential for the site to function.
• A view count cookie that remembers which builds you have recently viewed, so that refreshing or reloading a build page does not repeatedly inflate its view counter. It stores only build identifiers and expires automatically after a few hours.
