Endgame DC Arcane Trickster
20
Description
This build is optimized for endgame caster play that doesn't suck. This is not a build for new players, inexperienced players, or players who do not run endgame. This is not a leveling build. This build is optimized for endgame r10 speedruns and mid reaper raids. Also, a couple of things in the build are incorrect, and I will provide the information pulled from the game. With that out of the way, let's get into the right up
Hey all, trying out this website with my current arcane trickster build. I'm still not done testing it, but it performs exceptionally well for what I want it to do. So far, the only achievement is a "completed" R3 Strahd duo (found here: https://youtu.be/Wiq2fVw74fI ), but I have more duo raids planned. The build has been tested under nearly all endgame raids on R1+, and the DCs and damage work very well. This build works because you can either be your group's DC caster, DPS, or CC. The choice is yours. You easily have enough DCs for modern endgame thanks to magic item crafting level 36.
Another advantage of ATR is that you have 2 instakills that work on any enemy (frog and presto). This means you can still be useful in raids that normal DC casting doesn't work in, like relentless. BoGW also works on all corporeal enemies, which is a lot of potential victims for you to freeze. Reapers are the only pain point for CC, but I just use Mage Hand slap on reapers and blow up the rest.
Explanation of some build choices:
I took piercing cold because frost lance is part of my rotation, and some raid bosses are immune to cold. You have good spellpower in cold and force, so you can do decent damage on all your spells.
I build ranged power so that the mechanic SLAs do a little bit of damage. They are more for CC
T5 SD is for weird, and the epic moment makes you disappear and invisible so you can run away from raid bosses or lose trash in mid reaper raids
The reason for going with mechanic instead of FDI is the gearing of Acrida and Toven's Prototype, which allows for much higher DCs, as well as a lot more SA dice
The reason for Dhampir Dark Bargainer is it gives the most DCs out of any race, 3 SA dice, and 10 spell pen. If you don't want to use the +1 heart, regular dhampir is the next best choice
According to math, Shiradi mantle with 14 imbue dice is ~10% more DPS than draconic, hence Shiradi
Macrotech is for rune arm proficiency, defense, and spell cost reduction
For healing, you use the dhampir bite and helping hand.
In-Game stats and missing stuff
On the Cannith crafted ring, put on the new Illusionary duel effect prefix, Impulse, and Insightful Impulse. The builder file is missing the prefix and extra slots
DCs are all follows in Reaper with intelligence pots and no Reaper rings: Weird - 142 PK - 136 BoGW - 131 Disable Device Stuff - 160+
Major Masterworks curse is recommended on trinket
Major Betrayal curse is recommended on the cannith crafted ring
Spellpowers In reaper without temp buffs (lgs sigil, wellspring, etc): Cold: 1150+, Force: 1250+
other spell stuff is correct in the build file.
